One man’s weeds are another man’s flowers. Generally considered a nuisance, the mullein is actually used in herbal remedies with emollient and astrigent properties. Homeopaths also use the plant for cough remedies and in topical applications for a variety of skin ailments. Interesting background, but I was just impressed at the beauty of the mullein shown here growing through the cracks of this cobblestone walk.
