Personally I feel there’s only one correct color for a wood barn and that is classic American barn red. Some authorities say barns were painted red as a symbol of the blood of the animals that dwelt therein. A soulful, earthy thought indeed. However, this nearby conglomeration of barns is painted a deep blue-grey. I’m always fascinated by this back view of them with their rusty roofs and their stark architectural arrangement in the field.
