A Holiday Luncheon

I will look for any excuse to set a table.  It’s my favorite thing to do.  And since I don’t like to leave things for the last minute, I set up the foursome table for tomorrow afternoon.  Viburnum, dogwood and white petunias glow on the table and in a large galvanized tray at the window.  A meandering vermicelli-stitched quilt serves as the tablecloth.  Bright, springy, cheerful – all a table should be this time of year.  Oh, and dessert first – simple plates of cherries.  Have a good holiday!
