Feels Like Home to Me

“I hope you love birds.  It’s so economical.  It saves going to heaven.”

Emily Dickinson

A nearby farmer has nailed a variety of whimsical birdhouses to the side of one of his barns.  And he placed these birdhouses strategically, so that they face the back porch of his farmhouse.  I’m sure come spring, when the birds return to fill these nests with their eggs and songs, the farmer breaks out into song as well.

  1. What a great idea with the birdhouses! Thanks for sharing. I may have to give this a try.
