Don’t you love going into a store that you would normally never set foot in and discovering a world that, with a bit of editing, can reveal a plethora of style? Such was my experience at a somewhat local sporting goods store near the barn. I’d never been inside this place before. I guess it was my own prejudice, believing I was only going to see rifles and ammo and duck waders. But I was pleasantly surprised to discover some really cool items – like this short plaid wool cropped jacket and vest. Adding a bit of dash, like these bold scarves and gloves, transported them from the expected to a whole new world of Rustic Chic. Moral of the story? Keep an open mind and think about how something could look in a different context.
