Rounding out my list of the top three most rustic chic decorative items would have to be those made of cast iron. Next to all things galvanized and faux bois, my favorite pieces to collect and display are those made from this versatile material and I have a special fondness for classic cast iron urns. It’s fascinating that such a heavy material can at the same time be so fluid and shaped and molded into the most delicate of forms, such as this variety of antique urns which I have in the shop. In a couple of the photos below you can see a few more unexpected cast iron pieces, such as the lyrical antique sign bracket and a rococo shell. In my book, these pieces are ironclad rustic chic.
